Meyer Family Missionary Letter for July/August/September

JULY: We were very busy participating in music specials and celebrations with our sending church. We had a wonderful celebration for the Anniversary/July 4th Fellowship for our sending church, Bible Way Baptist church. Dan had an opportunity to fill in for our pastor while he & his family were on vacation. (Pictures) Dan witnessing to JW ladies by our house and a Biker at a gas station. AUGUST/SEPTEMBER: We are very excited to be busy in our ministry and making connections with churches that want to have us come and share our ministry and calling to the Philippines. We have been asked to attend Missions Conferences; we were very encouraged and looked forward to the preaching, sharing our ministry and making contacts with others in the ministry. The days appear to be flying by as we go from summer to fall and it won’t be long and we will be on our survey trip in the Philippines in November.

INTO THE FUTURE: God sure is blessing us with opportunities and we are very excited by this and are enjoying the new friendships we are making. We look forward to filling the rest of our winter/spring calendar with meetings and preaching opportunities which will allow us to be on fulltime deputation. Much prayer is still needed for our “Needs Prayer List” for us and for some of our pastor/missionary contacts in the Philippines; although God has provided some of the items. Thank you Lord! Also, please be in prayer with us for a different vehicle (van, truck/camper or RV which will give us a living area and possibly good gas mileage), more meetings with churches that will consider supporting and partnering with us to reach the people of the Philippines, for safe travels and for us to go on full-time deputation.
