May was an exciting month as we began our missionary deputation journey at our sending church; Bible Way Baptist church. We were very busy with all of the final preparations for the mission’s conference and to be ready to set out on part-time deputation. There has been much prayer, planning, creating and eye on the details; for all aspects of our new ministry. We have witnessed God’s leading and answering of prayer in these past few months. The days appear to be flying by as we go from spring to summer and it won’t be long and fall will be upon us, which brings our survey trip to the Philippines in November.

July is already here and our meeting calendar is filling up fast! We are praising God for His blessings He is sending our way! We are very excited to be busy in our ministry and making connections with churches that want to have us come and share our ministry and calling to the Philippines. God has provided some of the needs from our “Needs List’ for some of our pastor/missionary contacts in the Philippines that we have been praying for. I preached at a Tent Meeting in the Boston Commons, Boston Massachusetts. We were also excited about presenting our ministry and calling to the Philippines on June 21st at Faith Baptist Church. I was asked to return to Howland Baptist Church in Maine as one of the guest preachers at their Youth Conference. I was very encouraged by this and looked forward to preaching to the youth.

Wow! God sure is blessing us with opportunities and we are very excited by this and are enjoying the new friendships we are making. We look forward to filling the rest of our summer/fall with meetings and preaching opportunities which will allow us to be on fulltime deputation. Thank you Lord! Please be in prayer with us for a different vehicle (preferably a van which gives us more room but good gas mileage), more meetings with churches that will consider partnering with us to reach the people of the Philippines, for safe travels as we go to our meetings, for Dan’s work schedule to be more flexible so we can participate in other church ministries more and for us to know when we should commit to full-time deputation.
